I bought an android phone last year which is great. Having taught myself to
program on the beeb many years ago, and also have taught programming for
some time, I set up the necessary emulators and JDK on my laptop and have
started building an app, and have 2 or 3 more in mind. The learning curve
is quite manageable.

The shear number of free or very cheap apps is exciting, and the possible
uses of such a device are amazing with its built in microphones, cameras,
networks, G sensors, compasses and GPS, are many and impressive.

However even running natively, these devices in my view will probably never
be able to do the sorts of things where RISCOS could have an advantage.

What I would like to be able to do however is interface it with RISCOS to
be able to mount the device (or at least the accessible parts of it) as a
drive, and also to be able to share bits from a RiscPC or whatever.

Perhaps someone could say whether these ideas would be feasible.
