I went back to my old RPCEmu 5.20 install, the one that wouldn't network under any circumstances. I went to the PreDesk directory and rename Out (Added a couple of xx) the Softloader for 5.20 I then took the 5.20 rom image and replaced the startup 5.19 rom in the RPCEmu roms directory. Booted up straight in to 5.20 and Bob's yer wotsit, that version now networks perfectly okay. So something in the SoftLoader *here* appears to be messin' up the networking aspect of the upgrade. Just to check: Went back to PreDesk and renamed back the SoftLoader. Put back the 5.19 rom in RPCEmu and cold booted. Back to where it was before, networking fails always. Check again: PreDesk directory and rename Out the Softloader for 5.20 I then took the 5.20 rom image and replaced the startup 5.19 rom in the RPCEmu roms directory. Booted up straight in to 5.20 and Bob's yer wotsit, that version now networks perfectly okay again.
