I have installed 0.8.12 under Linux Mint 17, and very easy
compared to previous versions and Allegro difficulties. I took note of
the advice to use the associated files, and it was working very well
when first used. Many thanks to Peter for his hard work.
If I just load using ./812rpcemu in a root terminal, all is well,
but of course I don't get internet use. If I start by using the iptables
programme that I've used for some time now (suitably amended for the
version number) , I go through to the desktop, but get the message "Bad
opcode 14 41435452 at 20187980^ ". If I go back and restart the
iptables again, sometimes all is well, sometimes the error message. Can
anyone see where I am going wrong?
