At the forthcoming RISC OS Show in Feltham London, RPCEmu will be having a stand. We'll be demonstrating the latest updates and showing off a new easier networking solution.
Come along and say hello. http://riscoslondonshow.co.uk/ Peter Howkins Matthew Howkins What is easier networking? We have added a third networking mode to RPCEmu that reduces the configuration to just standard RISC OS configuration. For example, turn on 'Network Address Translation' in the RPCEmu Networking GUI, then in RISC OS select 'DHCP' (or fill in 3 IP addresses if you're using an earlier version of RISC OS) and it is working. On Windows this removes any need to install the TAP driver, and its complicated configuration and need for typing in commands at the Windows command-line. On Linux it removes the complicated configuration of the ip forwarding rules and the need to run the binary as root or using sudo.
