Since I don't wish to be supporting different and competing RPM

to the -r rpm-4_5 branch over the next week/month.

But at least do not rush with this. Instead please let the current code
on HEAD by settle for some more time. We especially should provide an
5.2 alpha for testing and before merging onto 5.1 branch we should
release another 5.1.X release before.

I'm hardly rushing, just warning of direction and intent. In fact I
will check-in the same asserts for new <-> old parser behavior, with a
pre-planned burn-in period, for each of the branches as I proceed,
just like I did for HEAD.

Note that "2 success reports or next Friday, whichever comes first" was
the acceptance criteria for the EVRtuple changes.
