The follow patch fixes /etc/os-release being sourced right into same environment as the configure script runs in, meaning that any existing variables with same names as found in /etc/os-release gets overriden.
This patch sources /etc/os-release and prints the $ID variable in a sub-shell in order to avoid this problem.
