OK, it's not the prettiest piece of code but it does the job, at least for the 
foreseeable future, in case somebody finds a more elegant solution :smile: 

Just two questions:
* Is there any use of having the man and apidocs archives separate? We remove 
both afterwards, anyway, so they won't be reused separately.
* Isn't the use of `tar` a bit dangerous in terms of perhaps including stuff 
that's not meant  for distribution? More so when we have a static list of man 
pages in `docs/man/CMakeLists.txt`. Maybe we could reuse that list somehow?

Otherwise, looks good! This is shaping up nicely for the Alpha release.
