Yeah I pondered about that, it's just the "submitting patches" gets into all
manner of detail that belongs more to coding style. I guess it needs to be
split in two: the high-level submitting patches part in CONTRIBUTING and then
commit message guidance in CODING_STYLE under a section of its own.
And yeah the "coding style" section needs to go go :sweat_smile:
