It sounds like a good plan to me. I have only a little doubt that
media will care about the second announcement if this will be too
close to the first.

The basic trick (that was also the reason for my initial "-4 hours plan; but it works the same with -24 hours) is this: Those news sides that found the initial RPM Fusion announcement not important enough to mention will hopefully mention RPM Fusion together with the Fedora Preview Release ;-)
