--- Comment #7 from Göran Uddeborg <[email protected]> 2010-12-20 21:51:15 --- So THAT is how the rule is to be interpreted. I took it as a minimum, and I was actually careful NOT to remove the optimization options that were there from the start. But reading the guideline again, I see that even ADDING to optflags needs to be motivated. And "upstreams chose to do so" isn't enough of a motivation in this case I guess. When fixing this, I noticed that rpmlint now complained that the binaries were group writable. It seems this is because CCACHE_UMASK is set to 2, overriding the umask set by rpm. I'm not sure when this started. It wasn't there from the beginning I'm sure. But I unset the ccache variable to avoid the problem now. So here is the next version: SRPM: ftp://ftp.uddeborg.se/pub/m2vmp2cut/m2vmp2cut-0.79-4.fc14.src.rpm SPEC: ftp://ftp.uddeborg.se/pub/m2vmp2cut/m2vmp2cut.spec -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
