I was able to build these SRPMs in Fedora 21 x86_64, install the
akmods-nvidia-340xx-... package, and end up with a loaded nvidia module and
working xorg. However, I will note that though I ended up with these packages:

akmod-nvidia-340xx-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm
kmod-nvidia-340xx-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm
nvidia-340xx-kmod-debuginfo-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx-cuda-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx-devel-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx-kmodsrc-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx-libs-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm

The regular kmod package, kmod-nvidia-340xx-340.58-1.fc21.x86_64.rpm contains
no files:

$ rpm -ql kmod-nvidia-340xx
(contains no files)

Doesn't this typically contain the .ko built against the current kernel?
