Basically if there is no regen-repo task between your attempt, there is no chance that the problem will be fixed by waiting. In the ideal case, there there is a service that monitor external repos changes and start a regen-repo tasks as needed, but here the program was missing in action, so it's restarted it and everything shoud work now. So please report if any issue. (either using bz , mailing list or IRC #rpmfusion freenodes).
