I came with the idea that using alternatives will break on ostree systems.
But maybe it can work if the symlink is updated while the rpm is been
"layered".
It won't work from a running system to go back and forth (which we should
accomodate).
Anyone to test ?
It would require changes in the fedora counterpart...
