Hello,
this Phoronix article <http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=NzE0Ng> claims that soon support for blu-ray discs will be started by the ffmpeg developers. But the most interesting part is this:

Robert also shared that discussions are leading to possibly having the AACS decryption implemented in FFmpeg. With Blu-ray, the AACS decryption is done as part of the de-muxing process, which means it would need to be pushed into FFmpeg. The Advanced Access Content System keys though for Blu-ray support would be stored elsewhere (say in /~/.aacs/).

Now, this sounds like a decss INTO ffmpeg. What will it mean for rpmfusion, given that libdecss is not included otherwise German bloggers won't write about it? I really wish this won't mean dumping ffmpeg...

Given the time the decss discussion took, maybe it's better to start talking about it now.

Dario
