thank you for your directions. I've tried the Option Option "ConstantFrameRateHint" "True" with 185.18.14. After a few minutes the screen flickering to black and X freezes again. Compiz disabled. Doesn't help for me. Back to nouveau again. :-( I'll try it again, create the nvidia-bug-report file and upload it to the nvidia forum with a new posting. Hope that help to get the nvidia drivers stable again. Greets Dirk
