Hey guys, I'm running an IBM T43p on Fedora 11 with all of the latest updates. I've installed the RPMFusion 11.1 release (which I believe until a few weeks ago was the latest release).
When I listen/watch media, everything runs well for a while and then the media stream goes into rampant mode. It's hard to describe without seeing it, but basically playback accelerates to an incomprehensible rate within a very short period of time. It lasts for as long as it does and then eventually goes back to normal playback--I have to wait it out. This actually happens often enough to the point where I've given up playing media: MP3s, WMAs, and YouTube (Adobe Flash). I've also encountered the problem when using 'Sound Recorder' in GNome. This leads me to believe that its fairly widespread. I would be surprised if it were limited to only my specific hardware setup, but anything is possible. I tried searching for similar documented problems, but couldn't find anything. Has anyone seen/heard of anything like this? Thanks very much in advance for your attention. Regards, Michael
