Hi,

I have just found that, avidemux-plugins doesn't
support AAC encoding. Is it true?
Is there a particular reason you need AAC encoding? I know as soon as
I say this someone will disagree but I have read that Ogg Vorbis audio
is of comparable quality and is free and open source software.

Ogg Vorbis isn't supported in Mpeg4, only AAC and MP3. MP3 audio for Mpeg4 container isn't very common and mostly useless.

Not to mention that we have no control over the content that others publish (on torrents / dc++ / etc) and it would be nice to be able to use it without the need to use "the other OS"
