I know F12 is EOL and I plan up upgrading to F14 soon but since
someone built the packages I figured I would report the problem.
It appears that perl(Date::Manip::TZ) is not available for F12 which
mythweather requires. It was added between perl versions 5& 6. More
specifically, the modules from the version 5 Date::Manip module were
split up into smaller modules.
Since I doubt someone is going to want to build all of Perl 6 just to
install 0.24 on an EOL'd OS, is there are work around?
It's not Perl 6 that's needed, it's perl-Date-Manip 6.
Try this:
http://www.city-fan.org/~paul/Date::Manip.fc12/perl-Date-Manip-6.20-1.fc12.noarch.rpm
No guarantees it won't break something that depends on perl-Date-Manip
5.x behaviour though.
Paul.
That worked very well thank you
For a EOL OS there are still updates through RPM Fusion
