I've now tried 3 different versions of Quake 2 and all are blue only. I'm also
seeing stuttering in mplayer (-vo gl).
I'm not feeling the love for these beta drivers :)

Hello all,

I just noticed that we seem to have gone from the 295.59 release of the NVidia
driver to 304.30 version which is, as far as I can see, still a beta.
While this is all fine and dandy, I seem to be having problems with q2pro r1093
(Quake 2 Pro) ( http://skuller.net/q2pro/ ). After the driver update everything
is just blue (like the red and green's are missing).

Is this just on my end, or do other people see some issues as well?

Hi,

not sure about Quake 2 Pro, but I was using the development version of Chrome
browser (it fixes lots of Flash player bugs on Linux + gnome shell) and after
the upgrade to Nvidia beta all its tabs became irreversibly black. Stable
version is ok. Everything else seems to be working just fine.

Was there any specific reason to jump to Nvidia beta?

Regards,

Andre
