I checked the .repo files now, and -debuginfo and -source are disabled, but the others are enabled. I can't tell you if they were disabled prior. This machine gets daily updates. I do those manually because of a gnome-software/packagekit bug, so I would have noticed problems. dnf does sometimes send me to mirrors that are missing updates, which then gives some kind of metalnk.xml error (from memory) I checked, I can download free-release-24-2.noarch.rpm manually. I checked /var/log/dnf.log; rpmfusion-free was being checked regularly (daily), for at least every day in October, but the metadata file was dated Fri Jun 24 23:00:24 2016; so I assume there is an out-of-date mirror somewhere. dnf kept using cached info.
