I re-interate what I've said in #fedora IRC channel. get us an output of nvidia-bug-report.sh The nvidia kernel module should be built on post-installation, but if you reboot too early, it can also be built on the next boot. If for some reason the module is not loaded, nouveau will take-over. And you may have nvidia on the second reboot. We don't use nomodeset anymore on the RPM Fusion package, as we use other technique to block nouveau from loading. Please also mention which driver serie you are using, you should get main nvidia driver with your NVIDIA card.
