Thanks Ed. Using dnf search
searching for repo that provides these gstreamer1-devel-docs-1.16.2-2.fc32.noarch none (that I use) gstreamer1-libav-devel-docs-1.16.2-3.fc32.noarch none gstreamer1-plugins-base-devel-docs-1.16.2-3.fc32.noarch none gstreamer1-plugins-ugly-free-devel-1.16.2-2.fc32.x86_64 none gstreamer1-rtsp-server-devel-docs-1.16.2-2.fc32.noarch none I do note that these are all dev packages... I honestly can't recall installing them, and I'd guess that for my use of gstreamer, I don't need them... (or could do without). Tempted to remove them or at least check deps and see what will be affected? ... except I don't know what to ask dnf? https://dnf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/command_ref.html#whatdepends-option-label I guess I want to ask if any other packages depend on one of these five? What is the correct command please? regards On Sat, 3 Oct 2020 at 11:05, Ed Greshko <ed.gres...@greshko.com> wrote: > > On 2020-10-03 17:55, Dave Pawson wrote: > > Seems so, but other issues showing up > > > Best to verify what repos those packages are from. > > For example, > > gstreamer1-rtsp-server is actually in the fedora repo for f32. > > I'll leave it to you to check the others. > > > > Error: > Problem 1: package gstreamer1-devel-docs-1.16.2-2.fc32.noarch > requires gstreamer1 = 1.16.2-2.fc32, but none of the providers can be > installed > - gstreamer1-1.16.2-2.fc32.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade > repository > - problem with installed package gstreamer1-devel-docs-1.16.2-2.fc32.noarch > Problem 2: package gstreamer1-libav-devel-docs-1.16.2-3.fc32.noarch > requires gstreamer1-libav = 1.16.2-3.fc32, but none of the providers > can be installed > - gstreamer1-libav-1.16.2-3.fc32.x86_64 does not belong to a > distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package > gstreamer1-libav-devel-docs-1.16.2-3.fc32.noarch > Problem 3: package > gstreamer1-plugins-base-devel-docs-1.16.2-3.fc32.noarch requires > gstreamer1-plugins-base = 1.16.2-3.fc32, but none of the providers can > be installed > - gstreamer1-plugins-base-1.16.2-3.fc32.x86_64 does not belong to a > distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package > gstreamer1-plugins-base-devel-docs-1.16.2-3.fc32.noarch > Problem 4: package > gstreamer1-plugins-ugly-free-devel-1.16.2-2.fc32.x86_64 requires > gstreamer1-plugins-ugly-free = 1.16.2-2.fc32, but none of the > providers can be installed > - gstreamer1-plugins-ugly-free-1.16.2-2.fc32.x86_64 does not belong > to a distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package > gstreamer1-plugins-ugly-free-devel-1.16.2-2.fc32.x86_64 > Problem 5: package > gstreamer1-rtsp-server-devel-docs-1.16.2-2.fc32.noarch requires > gstreamer1-rtsp-server = 1.16.2-2.fc32, but none of the providers can > be installed > - gstreamer1-rtsp-server-1.16.2-2.fc32.x86_64 does not belong to a > distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package > gstreamer1-rtsp-server-devel-docs-1.16.2-2.fc32.noarch > > On Fri, 2 Oct 2020 at 08:57, Dave Pawson <dave.paw...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Can anyone say if kmod-nvidia is ready for fedora 33 please? > > > TiA > > -- > Dave Pawson > XSLT XSL-FO FAQ. > Docbook FAQ. > > > > _______________________________________________ > rpmfusion-users mailing list -- rpmfusion-users@lists.rpmfusion.org > To unsubscribe send an email to rpmfusion-users-le...@lists.rpmfusion.org -- Dave Pawson XSLT XSL-FO FAQ.
