Hi,

The rpy2-2.1.0alpha3, scheduled to be the last alpha before beta is out
and available on bitbucket and on sourceforge.

Notable improvements since alpha2 should be the handling of Python int
and long types on 64bit platforms, methods for the class DataFrame,
other bug fixes, NA_* Python types, more documentation.

User-visible changes that remains to be done before beta are:

- Finalize the way to extract/replace elements of an r vector
(most of the work to be done being at the robjects layer)
- Finalize the NA types
- Possible improvements to the numpy compatibility
- Other unanticipated required changes in the design (the time to get
them fixed is _now_... or that may have to wait for 2.2.0).
