Including the decimal point this means there are no positions left for the numbers in front of the decimal point. If you want a total of 10 positions, left filled with spaces, two positions after the decimal point, just do "%10.2lf%S". You can also do something like "%6.2lf %Sbps" to get "123.56 kbps" and such.
