Spikes are usually the result of a device restarting, together with a faulty configuration of your RRD. You may want to check your settings such as xff and min/max. > When I remove the NaN's nothing happens, and even if I remove the surround > ten lines, before and after, nothing happens to improve the graph spikes. I think you mean that you've edited an xml dump? If so, you shouldn't just remove lines. 80 Mbps will show up as a number like 1.00000e+07, you could change such numbers into NaN. > Killspike gives me .. > > perl killspike.pl > Found 2 datasources > Malformed input at killspike.pl line 73, <IN> line 44. Slight variations in the xml dump format may cause these kind of errors, it seems that the script needs to be updated to handle the current output format.
