You can do another CDEF on the DS, and use another GPRINT.

Example:
DEF:orig_value=bla.rrd:ds0:AVERAGE \
CDEF:value_percentage=orig_value,0.50,* \
GPRINT:orig_value:AVERAGE:"Original\: %5.2lf" \
GPRINT:value_percentage:AVERAGE:"50 percent\: %5.2lf"

Without putting a \n in the first GPRINT, the output will show on the same
line.
