Hello,

<disclaimer>
I know that spikes are almost always resulting from RRD
misconfiguration.
</disclaimer>

Neverthenless, sometimes I need to deal with RRDs files
with spikes inside.

I was wondering, what would be the most efficient way of
processing RRD file in perl.
I dont really like an idea of dumping file to external .xml
file and reading it, also using RRD:fetch looks like an overkill.

Any suggestions -- how efficiently iterate through content of DS
in RRD file in order to do some massive processing.
(possibly generating another RRD file with RRD:update?)

Thanks,

Przemek
