I am monitoring a T1 line, mrtg does the data collection for rrdtool.
I still have the old machine running pure MRTG and I see a peak on the T1 at 122.5kBs (98%). On the test machine I see nothing for the duration of the peak; this is the definition of the RRD (done by mrtg) ds[ds0].type = "COUNTER" ds[ds0].minimal_heartbeat = 600 ds[ds0].min = 0.0000000000e+00 ds[ds0].max = 1.2500000000e+05 ds[ds0].last_ds = "1910596238" ds[ds0].value = 1.4961330000e+04 ds[ds0].unknown_sec = 0 but this is what a fetch shows as the data: 1016456400: 1.1284171480e+05 9.5934810889e+03 1016456700: 1.1345647667e+05 9.1879496000e+03 1016457000: nan 2.5609493156e+04 1016457300: nan 1.0274055533e+04 1016457600: nan 9.4457169333e+03 1016457900: nan 1.4213377662e+04 1016458200: nan 1.0769259249e+04 I would suspect an out of range value but mrtg reports only 122K while the max is set at 125K. Anyone have a clue? (mrtg is 2.9.12a and rrdtool is 1.0.33) Claude R Trépanier Support de l'infrastructure du réseau IBM Bromont -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Help mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/rrd-users WebAdmin http://www.ee.ethz.ch/~slist/lsg2.cgi
