So, either increase the heartbeat (quick workaround, not fool proof)
or update at least every hearbeat seconds (heartbeat 7200, update
each hour is probably good enough for this purpose).

If the current time is 12:00, tell rrdtool to update with 0 at 11:59:59.
This way you will not run into a update problem if mail is received
at the same time you do this update.
