Howdy folks,
I'd be interested in your feedback on a new Perl module to access
rrdtool's RRD databases.
While playing with rrdtool's Perl interface RRDs, I wondered if there'd
be a more streamlined way to use rrdtool. So I whipped up a new module,
called RRDTool::OO, providing an object-oriented interface.
It has two goals: First, it should be easy for new users to get up to
speed quickly, without overwhelming them with parameters they don't need
immediately, using meaningful defaults instead. And second, parameters
should have names, which should be easy to memorize.
Here's the documentation:
http://www.perlmeister.com/devel/RRDTool-OO/README
And here's the project section, providing a tarball for download:

I'm interested in your comments. Does RRDTool meet your requirements? Is
there anything you would do differently? Any feedback is apprechiated.
