Hi!
I know it is annoying and very common error, but I can't get by. Of
course the scenario is the same: immediate after logging "Connection
closed".
I have ubuntu system and rssh 2.3.0, I tried to set up chroot jail
with script and manually, but always the result is the same: in syslog
I can see:
*****************
Sep 9 17:43:39 localhost rssh[8828]: setting log facility to LOG_USER
Sep 9 17:43:39 localhost rssh[8828]: allowing scp to all users

Sep 9 17:43:39 localhost rssh[8828]: setting umask to 022
Sep 9 17:43:39 localhost rssh[8828]: chrooting all users to /home/ftp
Sep 9 17:43:39 localhost rssh[8828]: chroot cmd line: /usr/lib/rssh/rssh_chroot
_helper 2 "/usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server"
Sep 9 17:43:39 localhost rssh_chroot_helper[8828]: new session for yacek, UID=1
006
Sep  9 17:43:39 localhost rssh_chroot_helper[8828]: chroot() failed, 2: Operatio
n not permitted
******************
this is always the same.
Please help,
Jacek Jablonski
