I am trying to use rsync under Windows 2000 and cygwin-1.1.7. I have tried rsync-2.4.6, rsync-2.4.2, and rsync-2.4.2 patched using a patch file from http://v.iki.fi/~vherva/cygwin-rsync/. All three sources compile fine, but give the same error when used: "The procedure entry point inet_aton could not be located in the dynamic link library cygwin1.dll: My command line was something like: rsync -nauv -e ssh machine_name:directory/ directory ssh is working fine.
