unexpected end.....

hi !
I´m using rsync a few time ago without any
problem...until  I tried to make it work using ssh2. 
Now I get the famous message: 
unexpected EOF in read_timeout

rsync version 2.4.5  protocol version 24
Aix 4.3.2 (both machines)
ssh2 2.1.0 (woks fine without passphrase)
