I think this issue is cygwin related, but I am not getting much response
from the cygwin list so I'll try here.

I have installed rsync 2.5.0 on both an NT and Windows 98 running cygwin.

On the Windows 98 box it appears to be writing the files everytime rsync runs.
Here are the stats from the -v option:

NT 1st pass wrote 432 bytes read 214537 bytes total 587944 speedup is 2.74
NT 2nd pass wrote 16 bytes read 770 bytes total 587944 speedup is 748.02

98 1st pass wrote 432 bytes read 214537 bytes total 587944 speedup is 2.74
98 2nd pass wrote 4312 bytes read 1200 bytes total 587944 speedup is 106

What is really starnge is why did 98 write more on the second pass then on
the first pass ?

Is this a cygwin bug or an rsync bug ?

-Thanks
