Wow! That must have taken a bit of work.
I don't have need of it myself but i could see it being
useful for some embedded applications. It does bring up a
few interesting ideas. Daemon mode listening on a device
or client mode connecting to an existing terminal session
could be useful where there isn't any networking capability
for instance.
