I am using the "-axv" options to do a simple copy of my root "/" filesystem on a SUN Solaris 8 platform using rsync 2.5.7 and the process hangs after the data has been copied. I have written a script that tells rsync to archive all local filesystems to an NFS mounted filesystem, but it always hangs at the end the ROOT filesystems. Any ideas what is causing this?
