Bug 1959 has nothing whatsoever to do with an "io timeout". That is a value
specified either by the client or by the daemon. Since the --timeout=0 value
on the client didn't turn off timeouts, I have to imagine that you're using a
daemon, and the daemon has a 30-second timeout specified (which the client is
not allowed to override). If so, you must specify the same (or lower, but not
0) timeout to the client for the rsync client to be able to help out with
keep-alive activites. A timeout of 30 seconds is also rather short, so I'd
suggest increasing it in the daemon's config.
