Hi. Has the issue with rsync using a lot of memory if there are a lot of files been addressed in 3.0?
I checked the rsync FAQ and it says this issue would require a major rewrite of rsync, not sure if that entry is up to date or not - 3.0 is a major rewrite AFAIK.
