------- Comment #5 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-10-24 11:31 CST ------- Hello, Sorry for that long investigation, but maybe it will help someone else. --iconv=ISO-8859-15,ISO-8859-15 did not really solved the problem. The definitive solution was to rename all files that where tagged with the rsync error message "Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character". As data came from windows i assume that there was some characters that rsync was unable to recognize.
