Hello,

Is there any way with rsync to completely set file permissions on destination (like 0440 for files and 0550 for directory) while still memorizing real (source) permissions in extended attributes (with --perms and --fake-super) ?
--chmod is of no help in this case.
I've been using rsync for a long time but wasn't able to find a way to do this other than fixing permissions after transfer.

Thanks,
Reno
