Mark,

It's possible that rsync is not in the default path for root/daemon on the
remote system, and thus rsync cannot invoke it when it tries to connect.

Subject: unexpected EOF errors

I am using rsync version 2.3.1 protocol version 20
on an Ultra 420R running Solaris 2.6.

I am trying to rsync some files on an Ultra 5 running Solaris 7.
It is using rsync version 2.4.3 protocol version 24

Here is the command I use on the 420R and the result I get:

# rsync -auv snapper:/export/home/mmilano/ /export/home/mmilano
sh: rsync: not found

What is the deal? Is there a simple fix for this.
