I'm looking at possibly running rsync, to help with mirroring a website. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to run rsync. I have some questions about whether I can run it or not: Questions: (1) Is it possible to run rsync in a situation where I'm mirroring from a Win98 machine to a Linux machine? [Note: I have Apache webserver running on both machines, and have an FTP server on the Win98 machine and an ftp account on the Linux machine.] (2) If the answer to #1 is 'yes', which machine would I install it on? The Win98 machine or the Linux machine? (3) Do I need a samba mount? (I don't think so, from the README file, but the tech support at my webhosting company mentioned this in his reply mail, so I'm just checking.)
