Hi all, I wanted to make you aware that the rsyslog project will move to git for its source control. I plan to do this move some time during the next two weeks (depending on development workload). I will send out another note shortly before the actual date but wanted to make you all aware about the fact.
I'd also like to express my deepest thanks to Michael Biebl, who helped us get up and running with git. Without his help, we'd probably stick for much longer with CVS and its quirks ;) As one of the first things after the move, expect the project directory to be cleaned up and restructured, most importantly the code will move into a ./src directory. We haven't done this so far as with CVS this would have meant loss of history.
