How to use logging facilities varies according to circumstances.
For example, RHEL is used for from edge to mission critical.
Our customers want robust logging functions, like writing to MySQL or  
transporting via TCP/RELP.

But some users want 'greener' machines.
It sounds interesting to combine the feature to write log messages to  
RAM and the powertop project.
