Hi all, I have been asked if it is possible that the property replacer provides an option of emitting a Unix timestamp for timestamp fields. This sounds reasonable, but there are a number of subtleties. They are outlined in the forum thread, with this post:

I would appreciate if someone from the mailing list could point me to a resource, or share an idea, or whatever, on how I may tackle the problem. Note that the primary concern is that I need to generate the correct timestamp for messages from different time zones (problems outlined in mentioned post). Any feedback is highly welcome.
