Hi Rainer,

I have been running 5.3.6 with a PostgreSQL 8.4 backend and
it has not exhibited the problems that I saw in 5.3.5 that
caused me to roll back to 4.4.2. Thank you for the fixes to
the PostgreSQL transaction interface. I will be doing some
more testing of the new functionality but it looks good.
