Sorry for the very late reply, I just got back to this issue last week. I just wanted to confirm that 5.10.0 on CentOS 5 and 6 were both able to forward UDP messages intact. The message code was refactored in a way similar to the patch Ranier had sent me, and it worked perfectly.
