Hi,

I am using the Apache SyslogAppender to send the log lines via UDP to the local
rsyslog server.

log4j.appender.SYSLOG=org.apache.log4j.net.SyslogAppender
log4j.appender.SYSLOG.syslogHost=localhost
log4j.appender.SYSLOG.facility=LOCAL7
...

So what's not standard in that message? I just need to know what's wrong so I
can fix my configuration.

The log line is just plain text with fields separated by tabs.

/Flavio
