Rainer -

I was looking over the blog post and it sounds fantastic.

With the expected shift of the v7-devel branch shifting to mostly breakfix,
will some of the tasks that were being looked at (Like the improvement of
impstats support for omelasticsearch) will still be pushed into it. V8 looks
like it will be a fair amount of work and you'll end up having to do a lot of
reworking on the output modules already, so I felt I should find out.

Thanks!

Hi all,

this is the bigger picture about the current work and how it's finally intended
