Hello,

when trying to compile rsyslog 8.4.2:

=======================================
[root@rstest rsyslog-8.4.2]# make
make  all-recursive

  CC     librsyslog_la-msg.lo
msg.c: In function ‘MsgSetPropsViaJSON’:

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/dl/rsyslog-8.4.2/rsyslog-8.4.2'
make: *** [all] Error 2

My workaroung for this is adding -std=c99 to runtime/Makefile:
298:CFLAGS = -g -O2 -std=c99

Is this a good solution, or should I do something else?

Thank you
ignasr
